No more than 5% of attorneys in each state receive this honor each year. In 2017, attorneys and partners Joseph A. Morris, Will Morris, S. Mark Andrews, and Joseph Dan Talmadge Jr. were desginated for Super Lawyers.
The prestige of a Super Lawyer designation is created in part by the rigorous and highly selective processes of nomination, research, and selection. In order to be considered for this honor, attorneys must be nominated by peers in the legal community. Upon nomination, a panel of attorneys begins investigating the nominee’s accomplishments in 12 different categories of legal practice. After research is completed, a blue ribbon panel conducts a review and makes its official selections.
